PHP
PHP is a text and software language (script language) designed primarily for using it in developing and programming web applications. It can also be used to produce stand-alone programs that have nothing to do with the web. PHP is an abbreviation for “Hypertext Preprocessor". PHP is an open source language which is developed by a team of volunteers and is launched under the PHP license. PHP supports oriented programming and its grammatical structure is very similar to the grammatical structure of the C language. Furthermore, it works on multiple operating systems such as Linux and Windows.
ASP
ASP.NET is a framework for web applications developed and marketed by Microsoft to give programmers the ability to create dynamic websites, web applications, and web services. It was released in January 2002 with version 1.0 of .NET Framework, which is a successor to ASP (Active Server Pages). ASP.NET is also built on CLR (Common Language Interoperability), allowing programmers to type their own ASP.NET framework codes using any programming language they prefer, provided that it shall be supported by.NET Framework.
